Thomapyrin TENSION DUO 400 mg/100 mg film-coated tablets are an analgesic for the short-term treatment of acute moderately severe pain such as toothache or headache in adults. The film-coated tablets contain 400 mg ibuprofen and 100 mg caffeine as active ingredients. Ibuprofen has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, while caffeine enhances the effectiveness and accelerates the action of ibuprofen. The combination of ibuprofen and caffeine in Thomapyrin TENSION DUO produces a 36% faster and 40% stronger effect compared to a monopreparation with only 400 mg ibuprofen. The recommended dosage for adults is 1 tablet every 6-8 hours, up to a maximum of 3 tablets per day. It should be taken with sufficient liquid. The medicine is well tolerated and gluten- and lactose-free. However, it is important to read the package leaflet and consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.
