Terbinafine AbZ 10 mg/g cream is used to treat fungal infections of the skin caused by dermatophytes such as Trichophyton, Microsporum canis and Epidermophyton floccosum. It is also effective against yeast infections of the skin, especially those caused by the genus Candida. In addition, the cream can also be used for pityriasis (tinea) versicolor, which is caused by the yeast fungus Pityrosporum orbiculare. The cream contains the active substance terbinafine hydrochloride and the excipients cetyl alcohol and cetylstearyl alcohol. Terbinafine AbZ 10 mg/g cream is applied to the skin. Before applying the cream, the skin should be thoroughly cleansed and dried. Apply the cream thinly to the inflamed skin and slightly beyond and rub in gently. For inflammation in skin folds, the skin can be covered with a sterile gauze at night. The duration and frequency of use varies depending on the area of application.
