Terbinafine AbZ 10 mg/g cream is used to treat fungal infections of the skin and yeast infections of the skin. It contains the active substance terbinafine hydrochloride. The areas of application include fungal infections caused by certain dermatophytes, yeasts and pityriasis versicolor. The cream is applied thinly to the affected skin and slightly beyond and rubbed in gently. Depending on the type of infection, the application period is 1-2 weeks. The cream should be applied once a day, except for pityriasis versicolor, where 1-2 times a day for 2 weeks is recommended. The cream is suitable for people aged 12 years and over.
