Nasivin nasal spray for children without preservatives is a product for use in the nose and contains the active ingredient oxymetazoline hydrochloride.This active ingredient has vasoconstrictor properties that reduce swelling in the nasal mucosa.In addition, antiviral, immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects of the active ingredient have been proven.

The nasal spray has been specially developed for small children between 1 and 6 years and is free of preservatives.It is used for acute rhinitis, allergic rhinitis and episodic runny nose.It can also be used to facilitate the drainage of secretions in the case of inflammation of the paranasal sinuses and in cases of tubal middle ear catarrh in conjunction with a runny nose.The nasal spray is also suitable for diagnostic mucous membrane swelling.

Application

Nasivin nasal spray without preservatives for small children is intended for nasal use.The spray mechanism works by applying pressure to the finger rest.When using it for the first time, you should remove the protective cap, hold the nasal spray in your hand and pump it several times until an even spray mist comes out.Hold the spray opening to one nostril and press once.After use, you should clean the spray opening and put the protective cap back on.

The recommended dose for small children aged 1 to 6 years is one spray into each nostril up to 3 times daily.The nasal spray should not be used for longer than 7 days unless directed by a doctor.Reapplication should only be carried out after a break of several days.If you have a chronic cold, it may only be used under medical supervision.

Composition

The active ingredient is oxymetazoline hydrochloride.1 ml Nasivin nasal spray without preservatives for small children contains 0.25 mg oxymetazoline hydrochloride corresponding to 0.025%.1 spray of 45 microliters of solution contains 11.25 micrograms of oxymetazoline hydrochloride.

The other ingredients are citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate 2 H2O, glycerol 85% and purified water.

Storage

Keep this medicine out of the reach and reach of children.Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the label and carton.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Contraindications

This product should not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients, drying of the nasal mucosa with crust formation, or in infants under one year of age.If you have cardiovascular disease, prostate enlargement, metabolic diseases, pheochromocytoma, increased intraocular pressure or children under 6 years of age, a doctor should be consulted before using this product.

Dosage

Children between 1 and 6 years of age can apply 1 spray into each nostril 2-3 times a day.Application should be limited to a maximum of 3 applications per day.The medicine is not intended for children over 6 years of age and adults.
