Silymarin STADA hard capsules are a herbal medicinal product used for the supportive treatment of chronic inflammatory liver diseases, liver cirrhosis and toxic liver damage. The medicinal product contains a dry extract of milk thistle fruits which protects the liver cells from toxins and promotes the formation of new liver cells. It is recommended to take 1 capsule 2-3 times a day, independently of the meal, with sufficient liquid. The duration of use should be discussed with the attending physician. Side effects may include gastrointestinal complaints and hypersensitivity reactions of the skin. Silymarin STADA hard capsules are intended for adults and should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients or during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Before treatment with this medicinal product, any interactions with other medicinal products should be discussed with the doctor or pharmacist.
