Canephron Uno is a herbal medicinal product used as a supportive treatment and to complement specific measures for mild complaints in the context of inflammatory diseases of the draining urinary tract. It is also used to flush the urinary tract to reduce the deposition of kidney gravel. Canephron Uno contains the active ingredients centaury powder, lovage root powder and rosemary leaf powder. The tablets should be taken 3 times a day by adolescents aged 12 and over and adults. The medicine should not be used in children under 12 years of age. Possible side effects include gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. The leaflet should be read carefully before use and a doctor or qualified person should be consulted if symptoms or other side effects persist. Pregnant women and nursing mothers should seek advice from their doctor before use. Certain contraindications apply, such as hypersensitivity to the ingredients or stomach ulcer.
