Directions for use of the article Canephron Uno coated tablets: Canephron Uno is a traditional herbal medicinal product used as a supportive treatment and supplement to specific measures for mild complaints associated with inflammatory diseases of the draining urinary tract. It is also used to flush the urinary tract to reduce the deposition of kidney gravel. The medicine is intended for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. Certain points should be noted before taking Canephron Uno. It should not be taken if you are allergic to the active ingredients or other related ingredients of the medicine. The medicine should also not be used if you have stomach ulcers or oedema due to reduced heart or kidney function and/or reduced fluid intake. In case of certain symptoms such as fever, pain in the lower abdomen, blood in the urine, discomfort during urination and acute urinary retention, a doctor should be consulted immediately. The recommended dosage for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over is 1 coated tablet 3 times a day. It should be taken with liquid. The duration of use depends on the type of symptoms and/or the course of the disease. If the symptoms persist or do not improve after 3 days, a doctor should be consulted. The medicinal product must not be used for self-medication for longer than 2 weeks. Possible side effects of the medicinal product are gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. If side effects occur, the medicine should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. Each coated tablet of Canephron Uno contains centaury powder, lovage root powder and rosemary leaf powder. The medicine also contains the sugars glucose, sucrose and lactose. The medicinal product should not be used in children under 12 years of age. There are no adequate studies on the use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Canephron Uno coated tablets are available in different pack sizes and must be stored at room temperature. They should be kept out of the reach of children.
