Gingium 120 mg is a herbal medicinal product used for mental performance deficits and circulatory complaints. The main effect is based on an extract from the leaves of the Ginkgo Biloba tree. It is used to support memory disorders, lack of concentration, dizziness, ringing in the ears, headaches as well as to extend the pain-free walking distance in case of window shopper's disease. It is taken in the morning and evening with liquid. The recommended duration of treatment is six to eight weeks, and up to six months in the case of tinnitus. An overdose can lead to gastrointestinal complaints, headaches and allergic skin reactions. Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age and during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended. Side effects may include headache, dizziness, gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhoea, lower abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. The medicine should be stored away from heat.
