Instructions for use for DICLO BETA Pain gel, 50 g

Summary: Diclo beta pain gel contains the active ingredient diclofenac sodium and is used for the symptomatic treatment of pain. It can be used for adults for acute injuries such as strains, sprains or bruises and for muscle pain in the back. It can also be used in adolescents over 14 years of age for the local treatment of pain in bruises, strains or sprains resulting from blunt trauma. Before use, certain contraindications should be noted, such as an allergy to diclofenac or other painkillers, open injuries or infections of the skin, and eczema or inflammation of the mucous membranes. The gel is applied by spreading it thinly and rubbing it gently onto the affected area of the body. The maximum daily dose is 16 g of gel. Side effects such as skin rash, itching and oedema may occasionally occur. Pregnant women should not use the gel in the last trimester of pregnancy, and during breastfeeding it should only be used after consulting a doctor.
