Instructions for use for MYKOSERT Cream for skin and foot fungus, 50 g
4 common skin and foot fungus mistakes you should avoid
Athlete's foot is contagious and will not heal without treatment. The longer the fungus is left untreated, the greater the risk of it spreading to toenails or other areas of the skin. Athlete's foot should be treated early.
- Symptoms are recognised too late or ignored
- Waiting too long to treat
- Softened skin is additionally moistened
- Socks and towels are washed incorrectly
Even before the first skin changes are visible, invisible signs become noticeable, such as tingling, itching or a slight burning sensation. Redness, skin cracks or blisters in the area between the toes are often mistaken. The sooner you react, the less complicated the treatment.
Skin and foot fungus should be treated as early as possible, i.e. at the first signs. The longer the fungus is left untreated, the greater the risk of it spreading to other areas of the skin or the toenails.
Fungal diseases are often accompanied by moist, softened skin. In this case, the skin should not be additionally moistened with a cream, but kept dry at all costs during the treatment. The hygienic alcohol-based Mykosert® spray is the right recommendation here.
The risk of infection via the washing machine is often underestimated. Laundry, towels and bed linen that come into contact with the infected skin areas should be washed separately and at a minimum of 60 °C or with special hygiene rinses.
Use of Mykosert® cream for skin and foot fungus
Mykosert® cream is applied to the infected skin areas 1-2 times a day, depending on the severity of the disease, and spread with the fingers. Before application, the affected skin areas should be thoroughly cleaned with warm water and skin-friendly soap and then carefully dried. The cream is applied thinly to the affected and surrounding skin areas.
The duration of application depends on the type of symptoms and the course of the disease. The treatment should be continued for 14 days after the symptoms have subsided. In total, the treatment should last a maximum of 28 days.
Mykosert® cream is well tolerated and absorbs quickly. It seals brittle skin areas and acts like a protective shield against the fungus. The cream is ideal for fungal diseases with dry skin. After application, the effect remains waterproof for up to 48 hours.
If you have further questions about the use and dosage of Mykosert® cream, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist.
