Directions for use of the article Refluthin for heartburn chewable tablets mint flavour: Refluthin is a medicinal product for the fast and lasting relief of heartburn and acid-related stomach complaints. It contains mineral acid buffers that neutralise excess stomach acid, as well as prickly pear extract that forms a soothing protective layer on the irritated mucous membrane of the oesophagus. The chewable tablets are well tolerated and can be taken by adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. They should be taken after meals and can be sucked or chewed. They should not be taken for longer than 30 days and a doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist for longer. The chewable tablets contain no preservatives, artificial colours, gluten or lactose. They are also suitable for vegans. There are no known side effects, but excessive consumption may cause a laxative effect. The product should be kept out of the reach of children.
