Nurofen Junior Fever and Pain Relief Juice Orange contains the active substance ibuprofen and is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of fever and mild to moderately severe pain. It belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs/antiphlogistics (NSAIDs). The dosage depends on the child's body weight and varies from 1.25 ml to 7.5 ml, depending on the age of the child. Single doses should be administered every 6-8 hours. Use in children under 3 months of age or under 5 kg body weight is not recommended. The application is done by ingestion with an application syringe. The bottle should be shaken well before ingestion. The total dose must not be exceeded. Side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness, fatigue and skin reactions. In the event of an overdose, nausea, vomiting, bleeding and breathing disorders may occur, among others. In the event of an overdose, a doctor should be consulted immediately. The medicine should be intended for short-term use and should not be used for more than 3 days. Medical advice should be sought if symptoms persist or in children under 6 months of age. Use during pregnancy or lactation should be in consultation with a doctor.
