Summary: Vividrin Mometasone Hay Fever Nasal Spray is a nasal spray for the treatment of seasonal hay fever. It contains the active ingredient mometasone furoate, a glucocorticoid that has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties. The nasal spray is effective for severe allergic symptoms and is well tolerated. It does not make you tired and is not addictive. Adults aged 18 and over can use it if the initial diagnosis of hay fever has been made by a doctor. It is used once a day with 2 sprays per nostril and once symptoms are under control, the dose can be reduced to 1 spray. Before using the nasal spray, it should be shaken well. The bottle should be discarded after the specified number of sprays or after 2 months from opening. The nasal spray can be used continuously for up to three months, but should not be used for longer without medical advice. No persons under 18 years of age or persons with hypersensitivity to the ingredients should use the nasal spray. Possible side effects include nosebleeds, irritation of the nose and throat, mucous membrane ulcers, pharyngitis, nasal infections, headaches and others. For more information, see the package leaflet.
