Vividrin® Mometasone hay fever nasal spray contains the following active ingredients and excipients: 0.052 mg mometasone furoate-1 water, 0.041 mg mometasone, 0.05 mg mometasone furoate, carmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, citric acid 1-water, glycerol, sodium citrate, polysorbate 80, water for injections and 0.02 mgBenzalkonium chloride.

Contraindications

Vividrin® Mometasone hay fever nasal spray must not be used if you are allergic to mometasone furoate or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.Also, the nasal spray should not be used if you have an untreated infection in your nose or if you have recently had nasal surgery or injured your nose.In these cases, you should wait until the infection has cleared or the nose has healed before using it.

Dosage

At the start of treatment, you should use Vividrin® Mometasone hay fever nasal spray once a day with two sprays per nostril.Once symptoms improve, the dose can be reduced to one spray per nostril once daily.

Intake

Before using the nasal spray for the first time, you should shake the bottle well and activate the dosing pump about 10 times until an even spray mist is created.If the nasal spray has not been used for 14 days or more, you will need to prepare it again by activating the pump twice.Before each use you should shake the bottle well.The bottle should be discarded after the specified number of sprays or two months after opening.

To use the nasal spray, you should remove the protective cap, clean your nose and insert the nose piece into a nostril.Tilt your head slightly forward and point the nose piece towards the wing of your nose.Start inhaling gently through your nose and spray one spray into your nose by pressing down once with your fingers.Exhale through your mouth and repeat if necessary.Repeat the steps for the other nostril and then clean the nose piece with a clean tissue.
