Directions for use of the article Linola sept Wundspray: Linola sept wound spray contains the active ingredients octenidine dihydrochloride and phenoxyethanol. It is used for repeated, temporary supportive antiseptic treatment of small, superficial wounds. The medicinal product is applied to the skin. The area to be treated should be thoroughly wetted with the spray. Before applying a wound dressing, one should wait at least 1-2 minutes to allow the wound to dry a little. The wound spray should not be used for longer than 2 weeks without medical supervision. In children under 6 years of age, use should be limited to a few days. An overdose is unlikely and the doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are any questions. The medicinal product should be kept out of reach of children and should only be used until the stated expiry date. Linola sept wound spray is a colourless spray for the treatment of infected wounds and wounds at risk of infection. It helps with and against wound infections and is easy to apply without contact. The spray does not contain ethanol and is also suitable for children. It does not leave any discolouration on clothing and reduces skin tension due to the ingredient glycerine. Ingredients: - Active ingredients: octenidine dihydrochloride (1mg) and phenoxyethanol (20mg). - Other ingredients: 2-[(3-Kokosfettsäureamidopropyl)dimethylazaniumyl]acetate (contains sodium chloride), sodium D-gluconate, glycerol 85%, sodium hydroxide solution (0.4%) and purified water. Indications: - The product should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. - The wound spray should not be brought into contact with anionic surfactants (soap, detergents). - It should not be swallowed or enter the bloodstream. - When used in wound cavities, the drug should be allowed to run out again. - Avoid application to the eye and in case of eye contact, rinse the eyes thoroughly with water. - Caution should be exercised when using in children, especially in neonates and premature infants.
