Directions for use of the article Uvalysat Oral Liquid: Uvalysat liquid is a herbal medicinal product for the supportive treatment of inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract. It contains an extract of bearberry leaves with a content of 3.9 - 7.1 g (1:0.54-0.99) and 0.56 g anhydrous arbutin (HPLC). Uvalysat liquid is taken as a solution and should always be taken exactly as directed in the package leaflet. The usual single dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over is 2-3 ml of solution (112 to 172 mg of anhydrous arbutin), which can be taken up to 4 times a day. The duration of use should not exceed one week and should not be more than 5 times a year. Uvalysat liquid should be used with caution in liver patients, alcoholics, epileptics, pregnant women, nursing mothers or children, as it contains 22% alcohol by volume. Possible side effects are gastrointestinal complaints, hypersensitivity, itching, skin redness and rash. In case of overdose, nausea, vomiting and blood in the urine may occur. It is recommended to consult a doctor immediately in case of an overdose. The medicine must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients or in children under 12 years of age. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should only use the medicine after consulting a doctor. Before using Uvalysat liquid, possible interactions with other medicines should be noted. The medicinal product should be stored in the dark and out of the reach of children. After opening the bottle, the medicine should be used within 3 months.
