Directions for use of the article Uvalysat Oral Liquid: Uvalysat liquid is a herbal medicinal product used for the supportive treatment of inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract. It contains an extract of bearberry leaves that has an antibacterial effect and inhibits the growth of fungi. The dosage for adolescents from 12 years of age and adults is 2-3 ml four times a day, with the individual doses being taken over the course of the day. The medicine should not be used for longer than one week and no more than five times a year. Side effects such as gastrointestinal complaints, hypersensitivity and skin reactions may occur. The medicine contains alcohol and should therefore be avoided by liver patients, alcoholics, epileptics, pregnant women, nursing mothers and children. Before use, possible interactions with other medicines should be discussed. The medicinal product should be protected from light and used within three months after opening.
