LoranoPro 0.5 mg/ml oral solution contains the active substance desloratadine and is used to improve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis and urticaria in adults, adolescents and children aged 2 years and over. It is an anti-allergic medicine that controls the allergic reaction and its symptoms without making you sleepy. The recommended dosage varies according to age: children between 2 and 5 years of age take 2.5 ml daily, children between 6 and 11 years of age take 5 ml daily, and adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older take 10 ml daily. The medicine is taken with an applicator syringe. It can be taken with or without food. The duration of treatment depends on the type of allergic rhinitis. For intermittent rhinitis, a treatment regimen based on the previous course of the disease is recommended, while for persistent rhinitis, longer-term treatment may be considered. The medicinal product should be stored at room temperature and can be used for a maximum of 2 months after opening. The medicinal product contains desloratadine as the active substance and various excipients. It may cause side effects such as headache, insomnia, dry mouth, diarrhoea, tiredness and fever. Before use, possible contraindications should be considered, such as hypersensitivity to the ingredients, impaired kidney function or pregnancy and breastfeeding. Care should be taken that certain medicines may interact with LoranoPro. It should be kept out of reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date.
