CICLOPIROX ADGC 80 mg/g nail polish containing active ingredients

CICLOPIROX ADGC 80 mg/g is a nail polish used to treat fungal nail infections (onychomycoses).The active ingredient ciclopirox belongs to the group of antifungal drugs and penetrates the nail plate to directly combat the fungal infection.The active ingredient reaches the pathogenic fungus just 48 hours after application.

A fungal nail infection is usually harmless but stubborn.It can take up to a year for a nail to grow back completely healthy.Early treatment is therefore important to prevent further spread.Fortunately, there are medications that can relieve symptoms quickly, effectively and inexpensively.

CICLOPIROX ADGC Nail polish for nail fungus 80 mg/g contains the active ingredient ciclopirox.One gram of the nail polish contains 80 mg of ciclopirox.The other ingredients are poly(butyl hydrogen maleate-co-methoxyethylene) (1:1), ethyl acetate and 2-propanol (Ph.Eur.).

Application

CICLOPIROX ADGC 80 mg/g nail polish should be applied to the affected nail once daily.Before the first application, affected parts of the nail should be removed as much as possible.Heavily callused areas can be treated with a disposable nail file.During the period of use, the lacquer layer should be removed once a week with an alcohol swab and callused material should be removed with a nail file.The duration of treatment should not exceed 6 months.

After each use, the cap of the bottle should be carefully closed to prevent the solution from drying out.The solution must not come into contact with the screw thread of the bottle to avoid sticking of the cap.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to one of the ingredients, CICLOPIROX ADGC nail polish for nail fungus 80 mg/g should not be used.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the medicine.The use of topical drugs may cause sensitization phenomena or cause side effects.In such cases, treatment should be discontinued and appropriate therapeutic measures initiated.Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

You must not use nail polish or other cosmetic nail products during treatment.Due to a lack of clinical experience, the preparation must not be used in children.

The medicine has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.
