Product features

Mikrozid sensitive wipes premium is an alcohol-free rapid disinfection for non-invasive medical devices.It is particularly suitable for alcohol-sensitive and sensitive medical devices and is ready to use.

Areas of application

This product is used to disinfect medical devices and impresses with its excellent material compatibility.It is ideal for use in hospitals where there are many sensitive materials.Even ultrasound heads can be disinfected with mikrozid sensitive.

Application instructions

The surface to be disinfected should be wiped thoroughly with the cloth and the active ingredient solution allowed to take effect.Make sure that the surface is completely wetted and that all visible dirt has been removed beforehand.Only small areas should be treated.The wiping range depends on the room temperature and the structure of the surfaces to be disinfected.Pay attention to hygiene aspects when opening and threading the first cloth and after use.The product is intended for use by professionals only.

Refilling the can

Before refilling, hands should be disinfected and fresh protective gloves and a gown should be put on.During the filling process, care must be taken to ensure that the gloves do not become contaminated.The expiration date should be transferred to the dispenser can.After opening the lid, the refill bag is placed completely into the dispenser container and the edge of the bag is cut off.The pre-plucked cloth is pulled from the center of the roll, threaded from below into the guide slot in the lid and pulled through.The lid is then disinfected and screwed on.For high-risk areas, it is recommended not to use refill bags.

Chemical-physical data

The density of the active ingredient solution is approx. 1.00 g/cm3 at 20 °C.The solution is colorless and has a pH of 6 - 8 at 20 °C.The form of the solution is aqueous on non-woven fabric.Flash point is not applicable and dynamic viscosity data is not available.

Always read the label and product information before use.The suitability of the product with regard to its spectrum of effectiveness must be checked separately.Disinfectants differ in their spectrum of effects on microorganisms, which must be taken into account when selecting a suitable product.There are known cases with bacterial strains that show reduced sensitivity or development of tolerance to disinfectants.In these cases, products based on quaternary ammonium compounds may not be sufficiently effective.For high-risk areas, it is recommended to use products with a particularly broad spectrum of activity, such as mikrozid PAA wipes or mikrozid AF wipes.Wearing protective gloves is recommended.

Composition

100 g of the solution contains the following active ingredients: 0.25 g alkyl (C12-16) dimethyl benzylammonium chloride (ADBAC/BKC (C12-16)), 0.25 g didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DDAC), 0.25 g alkyl (C12-14) ethyl benzy ammonium chloride (ADEBAC (C12-C14)).
