Instructions for use for Spalt Mobil soft capsules

Spalt Mobil is an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving medicine that belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).It is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain in known osteoarthritis (joint wear).No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Spalt Mobil is used for mild to moderate pain associated with known osteoarthritis.These can have various causes, such as overuse of sports, accidents or incorrect loading, which can lead to tension and signs of wear and tear on the joints.

Dosage and application

Always take Spalt Mobil exactly as described in the package leaflet or after consulting your doctor.For adults and adolescents aged 12 and over with a body weight of over 40 kg, the recommended dose is 1 soft capsule (equivalent to 400 mg ibuprofen) up to 3 times daily, with a minimum interval of 6 hours between doses.The maximum daily dose should not exceed 3 soft capsules (equivalent to 1200 mg ibuprofen).

Take the capsules whole with plenty of liquid during or after a meal.If you feel that the effect is too strong or too weak, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

In adults, if use is required for more than 5 to 7 days or symptoms worsen, you should seek medical advice.Children and adolescents should not take it for longer than 3 days unless a doctor has recommended otherwise.

Composition

The active ingredient in Spalt Mobil is ibuprofen.Each soft capsule contains 400 mg of ibuprofen.The other ingredients are macrogol 400/600, potassium hydroxide, partially dehydrated sorbitol solution, gelatin, purified water, propylene glycol, polyvinyl acetate phthalate and iron oxide (E 172).

Storage

Store Spalt Mobil at a temperature not exceeding 25°C and keep it out of the reach of children.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton or container.Do not dispose of medicines via wastewater, but take them to the pharmacy for disposal.
