Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredients in 100 ml of liquid are distillates from a mixture of lemon balm leaves, elecampane rhizome, angelica root, ginger rhizome, cloves, galangal rhizome, black pepper fruits, gentian root, nutmeg seeds, bitter orange peels, cinnamon bark, cinnamon flowers and cardamom seeds.Ethanol 96% (v/v) and purified water are used as distillation agents.

Application and dosage

The recommended dose for adults is 5-10 ml taken internally one to three times a day, but not more than 25 ml per day.Klosterfrau Melissengeist should be diluted with at least twice the amount of liquid, preferably water, or taken on a piece of bread.Externally, the medicine can be applied undiluted or diluted up to twice the amount with water to the painful areas, but only to healthy skin.

There is generally no time limit for the application.The duration of use depends on the type, severity and course of the symptoms.However, if you have any unclear or long-lasting symptoms, you should consult a doctor.

Side effects

The medicine contains 79% alcohol by volume.If the dosage instructions are followed, up to 3.1 g of alcohol will be consumed with each intake of 5 ml and up to 6.2 g of alcohol with each intake of 10 ml.Caution is advised.This medicine must not be used in people with liver disease, alcoholics, epileptics, patients with organic brain diseases, pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children.

The furocoumarins contained in angelica root make the skin more sensitive to light.Therefore, prolonged sunbathing and intensive UV-radiation should be avoided, especially when used externally.After applying Klosterfrau Melissa Spirit, your hands should be cleaned thoroughly.

Storage

Keep Klosterfrau Melissengeist out of the reach of children.The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.Shelf life after opening: 1 year.
