Description

The pain-relieving gel is based on lidocaine hydrochloride and is suitable for the temporary treatment of pain in the oral cavity, gums and lips.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The gel contains 20 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride 1-water, which corresponds to 16.22 mg of lidocaine.The following excipients are also included: glycerol, guar galactomannan, mint oil, thick paraffin, peppermint oil, saccharin sodium salt, highly disperse silicon dioxide, thymol, white petroleum jelly, purified water and 1 mg benzalkonium chloride.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or to other local painkillers of the acid amide type.

Dosage

Adults can apply the gel in pea-sized amounts to the painful areas 4-8 times a day and massage in gently.The total dose should not exceed 40 mg lidocaine.If you have pain caused by dentures or braces, the preparation can be applied thinly to the affected areas.In dental use, the gel is introduced into alveoli and gum pockets using a special cannula.

Children, toddlers and infants should use the gel in pea-sized amounts a maximum of 4 times a day, with the dosage being adjusted individually based on age and weight.

Application

The gel is intended for use in the oral cavity.

Special Notes

Particular caution is required in patients with severe disorders of the cardiac stimulus formation and conduction system, acute decompensated heart failure and severe kidney and liver diseases.The medicine has no known influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

Tell your dentist or doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.The medicine should only be used during pregnancy or breast-feeding if your doctor considers it clearly necessary.
