Summary: Linusit GOLD Linseed is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diets). It is used to support dietary management of intestinal constipation with typical symptoms such as constipation, mucosal irritation and diverticula. The linseeds contain a high proportion of gel-forming mucilage polysaccharides, which have a strong swelling capacity and a mucous consistency. As a result, Linusit GOLD linseeds swell longer and more strongly than normal linseeds and form a soft, mucus-like gel that can wet the intestinal mucosa. The recommended dosage is 15 g (2 measuring spoons) up to 3 times a day before or with food, together with sufficient liquid. For children aged 6-12 years, only 1 dosage spoon should be used. Linusit GOLD linseeds should be stored in a dry, cool and sealed place. They are vegetarian, vegan and lactose-free. They are manufactured by Bergland-Pharma GmbH & Co.KG in Germany. Please note that Linusit GOLD linseeds should be used under medical supervision and should not be taken in case of intestinal obstruction. It is not a sole source of nutrition and should be taken at least 1/2 - 1 hour apart from medicines.
