The isotonic sodium chloride solution 0.9% Eifelfango injection solution serves as a carrier solution.1 ml contains 0.154 mmol chloride ions (Cl-) and 0.154 mmol sodium ions (Na+).

Areas of application

This solution is used as a carrier solution for electrolyte concentrates and compatible medications.

Contraindications

The application is not suitable if there is an increased sodium content in the blood (hypernatremia) or an increased chloride content in the blood (hyperchloremia).

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding

There are no concerns about use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Composition

Medicinally active ingredients: 1000 ml contains sodium chloride 9.00 g.Other ingredients: Water for injection purposes, hydrochloric acid for pH adjustment, titration acidity up to pH 7.4.

Solution for injection in ampoules of 2 and 10 ml. Packs of 10, 50 and 100 ampoules of 2 ml. Packs of 5, 10, 50 and 100 ampoules of 10 ml.
