Instructions for use of Cloderm powder
Cloderm powder contains the active ingredient clotrimazole and is used to support the treatment of fungal diseases of the skin and skin folds.It can be used in combination with other antifungal creams or solutions.No prescription is required for this product.
Areas of application
Cloderm powder is a broad-spectrum antifungal and is used to treat fungal infections of the skin and skin folds.It is effective against yeast fungi, filamentous fungi and other fungi.The areas of application include fungal infections of the skin, fungal infections in the body folds and the follow-up treatment of fungal diseases.
Active ingredients and ingredients
The active ingredient in Cloderm powder is clotrimazole.Each gram of powder contains 10 mg of clotrimazole.The other ingredients are zinc oxide, highly disperse silicon dioxide and talc.
Contraindications
Cloderm powder must not be used if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use.Clotrimazole should not be used in early pregnancy out of caution.
Dosage and application
Always use Cloderm powder exactly as described in the package leaflet or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.The affected skin areas should be powdered once or twice a day.The powder can be used alternately with other dosage forms such as cream or solution.
The duration of treatment depends on the type and extent of the disease.In order to achieve complete healing, treatment should not be stopped after the symptoms have subsided, but should be continued for at least 4 weeks.In the case of athlete's foot, treatment should be continued for about 2 weeks after the signs of the disease have disappeared.
If you have used more Cloderm powder than you should, you can continue treatment at the indicated dosage.No adverse effects are to be expected in the event of a short-term overdose.If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose.Do not stop using it without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Cloderm powder can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Skin reactions such as temporary redness, burning or stinging can often occur.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Storage
Keep Cloderm powder out of the reach of children and do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.The medicine should be stored away from heat.
