Maaloxan 25 mVal chewable tablets are an agent for binding excess stomach acid.The active ingredients algeldrat and magnesium hydroxide neutralize stomach acid and thus relieve pain and discomfort.The product is used for the symptomatic treatment of heartburn, acid-related stomach problems and stomach or duodenal ulcers.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The chewable tablets contain 400 mg algeldrat, 200 mg aluminum oxide and 400 mg magnesium hydroxide.The following excipients are also included: mannitol, sorbitol, saccharin sodium, potato starch, mint flavor, magnesium stearate and sucrose.

Application and dosage

The chewable tablets should be chewed well.If necessary, one or two chewable tablets can be taken several times a day.The daily dose should not exceed 4-6 chewable tablets.For gastric and duodenal ulcers, it is recommended to take 1-2 chewable tablets 1-2 hours after meals and before bedtime.The duration of use depends on the type and severity of the disease.If symptoms persist beyond two weeks, a doctor should be consulted.
