Area of application
The eye drops Zaditen Ophtha Sine contain the active ingredient ketotifen fumarate, which acts as an anti-allergic agent.They are used to treat seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, which causes itchy, watery, red or swollen eyes and/or eyelids.No prescription is required for this product.

The eye drops contain 0.138 mg ketotifen fumarate and 0.1 mg ketotifen per milliliter.Glycerol, sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment and water for injection purposes are included as excipients.
Contraindications
The medicine must not be used if you are allergic to ketotifen fumarate or any of the other ingredients.Children under three years of age should generally not use the medicine.If you are pregnant, you should consult a doctor before use.There are no concerns about its use during breastfeeding.
Dosage
Always use the eye drops exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.The recommended dose for adults, the elderly and children aged three and over is one drop in the affected eye or eyes twice daily, morning and evening.The contents of a single-dose container are sufficient to administer one drop into both eyes.
If you forget to use it, do so as soon as possible and then go back to your regular dosing schedule.Do not use a double dose if you forget the previous dose.
Intake
Wash your hands before use.Open the single-dose container and be careful not to touch the tip after opening.Tilt your head back and pull your lower eyelid down with your finger.Gently press the container and let a drop fall into the eye.Close your eyes and press your fingertip against the inner corner of your eye for one to two minutes to prevent the drop from flowing down your throat.If necessary, repeat the steps for the other eye and discard the single-dose container after use.
Patient information
The eye drops may cause blurred vision or dizziness.If you experience blurred vision or drowsiness after use, you should wait until these symptoms disappear before driving or using machines.
Pregnancy
If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.The medicine may be used during breastfeeding.

Storage
Keep the medicine out of the reach and reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date stated on the carton and container.The single-dose container itself is not sterile, but the contents are sterile until the container is opened.After opening the blister pack, the unused single-dose containers can be stored in the folding box for three months or outside the folding box for one month.Do not store above 25°C.The contents of a single-dose container must be used immediately after opening and must not be stored.
