Thomapyrin CLASSIC painkilling tablets are an analgesic medicine that can be used for acute mild to moderately severe pain. It contains the active ingredients acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol and caffeine, which reinforce each other and thus allow a lower dosage. The tablets are suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. The mode of action of Thomapyrin CLASSIC Pain Relieving Tablets is based on the analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effect of the active ingredients contained. Acetylsalicylic acid and paracetamol block the formation of certain messenger substances in the body that are involved in the development of pain, fever and inflammation. Caffeine acts mainly on the cerebral cortex and temporarily lifts symptoms of fatigue. Thomapyrin CLASSIC pain tablets can be used for mild to moderately severe headaches caused by stress, tension or the weather, for example. The recommended dosage is 1-2 tablets every 4-8 hours. The maximum dose per day is 6 tablets. The tablets should be taken unchewed and with sufficient liquid. The duration of use should not exceed 3-4 days without medical advice. Side effects of Thomapyrin CLASSIC pain tablets may include gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness and allergic skin reactions.
