Instructions for use for Migraine Kranit 500 mg tablets, 100 pcs
Indications
This medicinal product is used to treat migraine headaches as well as other mild to moderate pain.It is used specifically for the acute relief of headaches associated with migraine attacks, both with and without aura.
Active substances and ingredients
Each tablet contains 500 mg of the active substance phenazone.It also contains the following excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, and highly dispersed silicon dioxide.
Contraindications
The medicinal product must not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to phenazone, pyrazolones, phenylbutazones, or any of the other ingredients.Use is also contraindicated in cases of genetic glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency or acute hepatic porphyria, as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding.The medicinal product is not suitable for infants and children under 12 years of age, and there is insufficient information available for this age group.
Dosage
Always take the medicinal product according to the instructions.For migraine attacks, adults and adolescents over 15 years of age may initially take 2 tablets (equivalent to 1000 mg phenazone); this dose may be repeated several times a day at intervals of 4 to 8 hours.The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets.For mild to moderate pain, adults and adolescents over 15 years of age may take 1 to 2 tablets, also several times a day at intervals of 4 to 8 hours.The maximum daily dose remains 8 tablets.Children aged 12 to 15 years should take 1 to 2 tablets daily, spaced 6 to 8 hours apart; the total daily dose should not exceed 2 tablets.In elderly patients, those in a generally weakened condition, or those with impaired liver or kidney function, the dose should be reduced to avoid delayed elimination of metabolites.In such cases, the total daily dose should not exceed 3 tablets.
Medicines containing phenazone should not be taken for longer than 3 to 4 days without medical or dental advice.

Overdose may result in symptoms such as tremors, seizures, visual disturbances, skin rashes, and loss of consciousness.In such cases, you should consult a doctor immediately and initiate first-aid measures if necessary.If the patient is unconscious, ensure the airway remains clear.
If you miss a dose, do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one.

No special precautions regarding the ability to drive or operate machinery are necessary.
Pregnancy
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, think you might be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.As there is no experience regarding its use during pregnancy and the active substance passes into breast milk, the medicine must not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

In elderly patients and those with acute liver damage, the dosage should be kept at the lower end of the recommended range, as the effect of phenazone is stronger and more prolonged.In cases of blood count abnormalities, the blood count should be monitored by a doctor.
