Instructions for use for DICLOFENAC-ratiopharm pain plaster, 10 pcs
Diclofenac-ratiopharm pain patch is used for local symptomatic short-term treatment of pain caused by acute strains, sprains or bruises of the arms and legs. The pain patch should not be used for longer than 3 days unless a doctor recommends a longer treatment period, which should not exceed 7 days. Before using the pain patch, you should note that it should not be used if you are allergic to diclofenac, propylene glycol, butylated hydroxytoluene or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It should also not be used on injured, infected or eczematous skin, in the last trimester of pregnancy or in children under 16 years of age. If you have certain pre-existing conditions such as asthma, kidney, heart or liver dysfunction, you should consult your doctor before use. The pain patch is applied by sticking it on the painful area. One patch should be applied twice a day, in the morning and evening. The maximum daily dose is 2 patches. The patch should not be applied to injured skin or used together with airtight dressings. After application, the treated area should not be exposed to direct sunlight or solarium radiation for one day to reduce the risk of photosensitivity reactions. Side effects of the pain patch may include local skin reactions such as redness, burning, itching, rash and allergic reactions. In rare cases, skin rashes, hypersensitivity reactions and photosensitivity reactions have also been reported with the use of medicines containing diclofenac. The pain patch should be kept out of reach of children and should not be stored above 25°C. Do not use the patch after the expiry date. Do not dispose of the medicine in waste water, ask your pharmacist for suitable disposal methods. Please note that this summary is not a complete description of the medicinal product. I agree with the previous speaker: The pain plaster helps very well with back pain, even sometimes for my tension neck pain, but you really have to stick it to the sides with plasters or tape because it comes off at the edges when you move. But then it holds very well. I used to cut it in half for my aching shoulders, but the effect wasn't as good, as it was only half the amount of active ingredient, so to speak. In any case, I now always have several plasters in the house because I'm always in pain somewhere (fibromyalgia) and because I sometimes bump or bruise myself. And I always have a pack with me on holiday. It's also important to mention that, strangely enough, the plasters from this brand help me and the plasters with the red packaging don't. Even though they contain the same active ingredient, they're not as effective. Although they contain the same active ingredient. (Maybe it's the menthol, which is still included here?!)

I use the plaster on my back and neck. It works well and is very soft and supple. Unfortunately, you have to fix it to the sides with a bit of sports tape or something similar if you move around a lot. One advantage of the plaster is that you can cut it to size or cut it in half. It helps me a lot and I am therefore satisfied.
