Alluna Sleep Film-Coated Tablets are a herbal medicine for the relief of sleep disorders. It contains valerian root dry extract and hop cone dry extract. The film-coated tablets are taken by adults and adolescents aged 12 and over, half an hour to an hour before bedtime, in a dose of 1-2 tablets. The total dose of 500 mg valerian root dry extract should not be exceeded. The duration of use is not limited, but continuous use for 4 weeks is recommended. Children under 12 years of age should not take the medicine. Alluna Sleep must not be taken in the event of allergic reactions to valerian root, hop cones, soya, peanuts or other components of the medicinal product. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should ask a doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking the medicine. Side effects such as gastrointestinal complaints and allergic reactions are possible but rare. The medicine should be stored away from heat and moisture. There are no known interactions with other medicines. The package leaflet should be read before use and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if side effects occur. Alluna Sleep is available in different pack sizes and is manufactured by Repha GmbH. The active ingredients of the medicine have an anti-anxiety, calming and sleep-promoting effect. Reaction may be impaired by the medicine, so caution is advised, especially when driving or operating machinery. People with allergies to ascorbic acid, dyes, peanuts or soya should also use the medicine with caution.
