Instructions for use for Cetirizine 10 – 1 A Pharma® film-coated tablets, 50 pcs
Cetirizine 10 - 1 A Pharma®
Cetirizin 10 - 1 A Pharma® is a proven antihistamine that is used to relieve allergic rhinitis and hives. It contains the active ingredient cetirizine dihydrochloride and is suitable for adults and children aged 6 and over.No prescription is required for this product.
Area of application
Cetirizine 10 - 1 A Pharma® is used to relieve nasal and eye symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and to relieve hives (urticaria).Allergic rhinitis can be triggered by pollen, house dust or animal hair and leads to symptoms such as frequent sneezing, a runny and stuffy nose and red and watery eyes.Hives manifest themselves as itching, redness and swelling of the skin.
Cetirizine 10 - 1 A Pharma® usually works just 30-60 minutes after taking it and offers a quick remedy for allergic symptoms. It can also be used to relieve the symptoms of hives.
Mode of action
Cetirizin 10 - 1 A Pharma® contains the active ingredient cetirizine, an antihistamine. The body's own messenger histamine plays an important role in allergic rhinitis.Through contact with allergens, our body releases increased amounts of histamine, which attaches to histamine H1 receptors and thereby triggers typical allergy symptoms.Cetirizine blocks these receptors, thereby inhibiting the effects of histamine and preventing the development of allergic symptoms.

Hay fever (pollen allergy)
Hay fever is common and is seasonally restrictive and stressful for those affected, especially when the weather is nice.It is triggered by pollen from grasses, trees and bushes to which the immune system reacts hypersensitively. The result is problems with the respiratory tract and mucous membranes.
Hives
Hives is a skin disease that significantly reduces the quality of life.It occurs with severe itching and hives. The triggers can be varied, from food intolerances to medications, allergies, external influences such as sun and cold or even a completely unknown cause.
Animal hair & house dust allergy
Allergic runny nose can also occur in contact with animals or house dust. Both animal hair allergy and house dust allergy usually manifest themselves through respiratory and skin symptoms. In contrast to pollen allergies, they occur all year round and therefore represent a continuous problem for those affected.
