Important information about Unguentum Zinci “Lexer”" SR

Unguentum Zinci "Lexer" SR is a 10% ointment for use on the skin.The active ingredient zinc oxide has a covering, protective effect and binds secretions in acute and subacute skin diseases.No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications

The ointment must not be used if you are hypersensitive to zinc, wool wax alcohols or other components of the ointment.

Precautions and warnings

Avoid large-scale application to skin areas of more than 20% of the body surface.Do not bring the ointment into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes.Wool wax can cause localized skin irritation.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If used properly and following the dosage instructions, the ointment can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.However, large-area use, especially on the breasts of breastfeeding women, should be avoided.

Interactions with other agents

Residues containing zinc oxide should be completely removed before using other dermatic products as their effectiveness may be impaired.

Application

Shake the ointment before use.Apply the ointment to the affected skin areas several times a day, for infants at every diaper change, and cover with gauze if necessary.The duration of the application is not limited in time.

Overdose and application errors

Side effects

Occasionally, skin redness may occur.If you are hypersensitive to wool wax alcohols, redness and skin inflammation (eczema) may occur.If you experience side effects, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Durability and storage

Do not use the product after the printed expiry date has expired.After opening, the ointment can be used for 3 months.Keep the medicine tightly closed, not above 25°C and keep it out of the reach of children.Residual suspension should be washed off and not rubbed off to avoid mechanical irritation of the skin.

100 g suspension contains: Active ingredient: zinc oxide 10.0 g.Other ingredients: Yellow petroleum jelly, caleu oil, sorbitan trioleate GOT, wool wax alcohols, purified water.
