Heparin AL Gel 30,000 is a medicine used for the supportive treatment of acute swelling after blunt injuries such as bruises and haematomas. It contains the active ingredient heparin sodium, which has a blood-thinning and anticoagulant effect and can support the breakdown of blood clots. The gel is applied thinly and evenly to the affected skin areas and has a decongestant and cooling effect. It can also reduce redness and inflammation. The duration of application should not exceed 10 days. If symptoms persist for longer or worsen, consult a doctor. The gel should not be used on open skin areas and is contraindicated in case of allergy to pork protein. Side effects are rare and not known.
