Directions for use of the article Pantoprazole Heumann 20 mg for heartburn tablets: The medicine contains the active substance pantoprazole, which blocks the production of stomach acid. It is used to treat reflux symptoms such as heartburn and acid regurgitation in adults. It reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and thus relieves the symptoms. The medicine should not be taken for more than 4 weeks unless a doctor recommends it. Before taking it, it is important to read the package leaflet and follow instructions from your doctor or pharmacist. Side effects may include headache, dizziness, diarrhoea, nausea and skin rashes. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take this medicine unless recommended by a doctor. It is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
