Instructions for use of the article Posterisan protect ointment:

Posterisan protect ointment was developed to care for and protect the sensitive skin in the anal area. It reduces the frequency and duration of acute haemorrhoidal problems. The ointment contains a special skin protection complex that puts a water-repellent protective coat over the anal region. This cares for the skin and protects it from irritation. The ointment also makes bowel movements easier and relieves mild discomfort. It can be used safely during pregnancy and breastfeeding as well as in children. The effectiveness of the product has been proven in studies.

Directions for use:
Posterisan protect ointment is used as needed. It is recommended to use the ointment before and after defecation. For application to the external anal area, the ointment is applied thinly with the finger. For application in the anal canal, an applicator is included in the pack. It is recommended to store the ointment at room temperature. Soiling of the linen may occur, so the use of a linen protector is recommended.

Ingredients:
Posterisan protect ointment contains a skin protection complex of jojoba wax, yellow beeswax and cetylstearyl isonanoate. Other ingredients are benzyl alcohol, butylated hydroxytoluene, white vaseline, purified water and lanolin.

Warnings:
The application of Posterisan protect ointment may cause soiling of the laundry. Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients is a contraindication. Simultaneous use with other products for the treatment of anal discomfort should be avoided.

Dosage:
The ointment can be used as needed, for up to four weeks without interruption. It is recommended to use the ointment before and after each bowel movement. For application to the external anal area, it is applied thinly; for application to the anal canal, the applicator is used.
