Instructions for use of the article Adaptic Touch 7,6x5 cm Non-adherent silicone wound dressing: The ADAPTIC TOUCH Non-Adherent Silicone Wound Contact Dressing is a flexible wound dressing with an open mesh structure that does not adhere to the wound bed. It is made of cellulose acetate covered with a soft silicone layer. The dressing prevents slippage and allows atraumatic dressing changes. The mode of action of ADAPTIC TOUCH includes: - A soft silicone coating for easy application and atraumatic dressing changes. - An advanced mesh fabric that minimises the risk of exudate build-up and adherence of the secondary dressing - Cost savings compared to other brands of primary silicone wound contact dressings - A smaller mesh size to reduce secondary dressing adherence to the wound bed ADAPTIC TOUCH reduces secondary dressing adherence and protects wound tissue during dressing changes. The Non-Adherent Silicone Wound Contact Dressing is indicated for the treatment of dry to heavily weeping chronic wounds such as venous ulcers, decubital ulcers, diabetic ulcers, traumatic and surgical wounds, and first and second degree burns.
