Instructions for use of the article Adaptic Touch 20x32 cm Non-adherent silicone wound dressing. The ADAPTIC TOUCH Non-Adherent Silicone Wound Contact Dressing is a flexible wound dressing with an open mesh structure that does not adhere to the wound bed. It is made of cellulose acetate covered with a soft silicone layer and ensures atraumatic dressing changes. The dimensions are 20 x 32 cm. ADAPTIC TOUCH offers several advantages. The soft silicone coating facilitates the application of the dressing and ensures atraumatic dressing changes. The advanced mesh minimises the risk of exudation build-up and adherence of the secondary dressing. There are also significant cost savings compared to other brands in the primary silicone wound contact dressing segment. The smaller mesh size reduces the risk of adherence of the secondary dressing to the wound bed. ADAPTIC TOUCH reduces adherence of the secondary dressing and prevents traumatisation of the wound tissue during dressing changes. The ADAPTIC TOUCH Non-Adherent Silicone Wound Contact Dressing is suitable for the treatment of dry to heavily weeping superficial and deep chronic wounds such as venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, traumatic and surgical wounds and graft donor sites. It can also be used for first and second degree burns and is suitable for use in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) under medical supervision.
