This preparation serves as a disinfectant and is used locally as an antiseptic.It is available without a prescription.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The preparation contains 1.05 mg ethacridine lactate monohydrate, 0.74 mg ethacridine and 1 mg ethacridine lactate in anhydrous form.Purified water is also included as an auxiliary ingredient.

Contraindications

The product must not be used if you are allergic to ethacridine lactate or other acridine derivatives.In addition, it should not be used in the eye area.

Dosage

Please follow the application instructions carefully.If you are unsure, contact your doctor or pharmacist.The usual dosage is to apply the undiluted solution to the affected area twice daily and leave it on for at least 30 minutes.

It should not be used for longer than seven days without medical advice.If you feel that the effect is too strong or too weak, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

No negative effects are expected in the event of an accidental overdose.Simply continue treatment at the prescribed dosage.If you forget to use a dose, do not double the dose.Simply continue the treatment with the next regular application.

Abruptly stopping treatment could jeopardize success.Therefore, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before stopping use.

Animal experiments have shown no evidence of malformations caused by ethacridine lactate.However, there is no experience with use in pregnant or breastfeeding people.It is unknown whether ethacridine lactate monohydrate is excreted in breast milk.Therefore, the product should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
