Instructions for use of the article Rivanol solution 0.1 %: - Rivanol solution 0.1 % is a disinfectant/antiseptic. - It is used locally as an antiseptic. - The preparation must not be used if you are hypersensitive to ethacridine lactate and other acridine derivatives. - It must not be used in the eye area. - The usual dose is undiluted solution applied locally twice a day for at least 30 minutes. - The duration of application is not more than 7 days. - No adverse effects are expected in case of overdose. - If the application is forgotten, a double dose is not applied. - The application should not be discontinued without medical advice. - No special precautions are necessary. - For application to the skin. - The medicinal product turns the skin and objects yellow. - The medicinal product should be stored away from light. - It contains the active substance ethacridine lactate monohydrate. - The package leaflet contains further information. - If you have any questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
