Instructions for use of article Tegaderm Foam Adhesive FK 8,8x8,8 cm 90610 Tegaderm Foam Adhesive is a thin, highly absorbent foam dressing with superabsorbent and moisture-regulating layer for low to high exudate wounds. The dressing adapts to varying amounts of exudate and reduces the risk of maceration or wound drying. The patented spoke application system enables precise, one-handed application even in difficult areas. The dressing fits perfectly, even in prominent areas, thanks to the extra-thin adhesive edge and the hydrophilic adhesive, which ensures a secure hold even with stronger shear forces and rather moist skin. Tegaderm Foam Adhesive is used for ideal moist wound care in wounds with low to high exudate. It can be used as a primary dressing for superficial wounds and as a secondary dressing for deep wounds. The dressing is applied to dry and grease-free skin. After the backing film has been removed, the dressing is positioned over the wound and shaped. The adhesive edge is pressed to optimise the adhesive strength. The paper spokes are then released from the centre towards the outer edge. To remove the dressing, the transparent adhesive edge can be gently overstretched horizontally to the skin or pulled off flat.
