Instructions for use of the article Tegaderm Foam Adhesive FK 14,3x14,3 cm 90612 Tegaderm Foam Adhesive is a foam dressing with a thin adhesive edge. It is suitable for the treatment of wounds with low to high exudate. The dressing absorbs fluid and regulates moisture. The patented spoke application system makes it easy to apply even in difficult areas. The dressing adapts to different amounts of exudate and reduces the risk of maceration or drying of the wound. Thanks to the extra-thin adhesive edge and the hydrophilic adhesive, it provides a secure hold, even with stronger shear forces and rather moist skin. Tegaderm Foam Adhesive can be used for ideal moist wound care in superficial and deep wounds. The application of the dressing requires dry and grease-free skin. After removing the backing film, the dressing is positioned over the wound and adjusted. The adhesive edge is pressed to optimise the adhesive strength. The paper spokes are then loosened flat towards the outer edge. To remove the dressing, the transparent adhesive edge can be carefully overstretched or pulled flat.
