Coal Hevert is a medicinal product in tablet form containing medicinal coal as the active ingredient. It is used to treat diarrhoea and poisoning caused by food, heavy metals and medicines. The tablets have a detoxifying effect and can also help with gastrointestinal complaints such as flatulence and bloating. The effect is based on binding toxins and reducing flatulence in the gastrointestinal tract. The dosage is 2-4 tablets 3-4 times a day for adults and half for children. The tablets should be taken with sufficient liquid. Overdose is not known, but the total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor. The medicine should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. There are no restrictions on the use of Coal Hevert during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
