Area of application

This medicine is used as a supportive treatment for chronic inflammatory liver diseases, liver cirrhosis and toxic liver damage.However, it is not suitable for the treatment of acute poisoning.It is important to note that drug therapy does not replace the avoidance of liver-damaging causes such as alcohol consumption.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The medicine contains 165.65 mg milk thistle fruit dry extract, (26-45:1), using ethyl acetate as the extractant.It also contains 83.3 mg of silymarin.The excipients include carboxymethyl starch, sodium salt type A, microcrystalline cellulose, iron (III) hydroxide oxide x-water, glucose solution, lactose 1-water, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate, corn starch, modified corn starch, montan glycol wax, sodium dodecyl sulfate, polysorbate 80, povidone K25, povidone K30, virgin castor oil,Sucrose, shellac, colloidal silica, talc, titanium dioxide and purified water.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are known to be hypersensitive to milk thistle fruits, other composite plants or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.It is also not allowed to be taken during pregnancy.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults take 1 tablet 3-4 times a day after meals.This corresponds to a dose of 250 - 333 mg of silymarin per day.The duration of intake should be discussed with your doctor.If the symptoms persist despite taking the medication, it is advisable to see a doctor.

To date, no symptoms of poisoning have been observed in the event of an overdose.However, the side effects described may occur to an increased extent.If an overdose is suspected, a doctor should be contacted immediately.
