Vitamin B Duo film-coated tablets are used for the treatment of neurological systemic diseases caused by a proven deficiency of vitamins B1 and B6. The film-coated tablets contain thiamine chloride hydrochloride and pyridoxine hydrochloride as active substances. One tablet contains 100 mg of each of these active substances. The recommended dose for adults is one tablet once a day, regardless of meals. The film-coated tablets should be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid. The duration of treatment should be determined in consultation with a doctor. Vitamin B Duo is contraindicated in people who are allergic to the ingredients and in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. An overdose of pyridoxine can lead to nerve-damaging effects. Possible side effects may include hypersensitivity reactions, sweating, accelerated pulse, skin reactions, localised nerve disorders with insensitivity and disturbances in movement patterns. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before use. The pack sizes are available in 20, 50 and 100 film-coated tablets.
