nicorette® chewing gum whitemint with 2 mg nicotine for smoking cessation
Nicorette® chewing gum helps you quit smoking by not only relieving the urge to smoke, but also typical withdrawal symptoms such as inner restlessness and increased appetite. With 2 mg of nicotine per gum, these gums are suitable for people who smoke up to 20 cigarettes per day.If you smoke more than 20 pieces per day, nicotine replacement therapy with the higher-dose nicorette® chewing gum 4 mg is recommended.Actively chewing nicotine gum releases the nicotine it contains, which then enters the bloodstream through the oral mucosa and increases the nicotine level. This reduces the desire to smoke and typical withdrawal symptoms.Active chewing also helps to distract the smoker from the impulse to smoke. The nicorette® chewing gums are not only sugar-free, but also have a fresh mint flavor and also score points with their teeth whitening effect. The chewing gums are also available in freshfruit and freshmint flavors.
Dosage for immediate smoking cessation
The 2 mg nicotine chewing gum is suitable for people who currently smoke up to 20 cigarettes a day.If more than 20 cigarettes are smoked, chewing gum with 4 mg nicotine is suitable. In the first 6 weeks, around 1 nicorette® chewing gum should be chewed per hour; 8-12 nicotine chewing gums per day are optimal; a maximum of 16 pieces per day is possible.Over the following 6 weeks, the number of chewing gums should be gradually reduced to 0 until week 12.Use is recommended for at least 12 weeks.Application for more than 6 months is not recommended.A relapse can occur even after 6 months. Here it is advisable to have nicotine chewing gum on hand.
