Terbiderm Spray is a medicine used to treat fungal skin infections. The active substance in Terbiderm Spray is terbinafine hydrochloride. It is used to treat fungal infections caused by terbinafine-sensitive fungi such as dermatophytes (filamentous fungi) and yeasts, especially in skin folds, to prevent moisture build-up and maceration (softening of the skin). Terbiderm spray must not be used on the face. The recommended dosage is a sufficient amount applied to the affected skin areas once a day. The duration of application depends on the type of symptoms and is usually one week. Terbiderm Spray should be used regularly, even if the infection seems to have improved. If symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted. Terbiderm Spray may cause hypersensitivity reactions of the skin such as itching, burning, redness and rash. People with an allergy to antifungal agents or hypersensitivity to the ingredients should not use the medicine. Terbiderm Spray should not be used on children and adolescents under 18 years of age. For pregnant and breastfeeding women, it is recommended to consult a doctor before use. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and protected from light.
