Contraindications

Folverlan 5 mg tablets must not be taken if there is an allergy to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients.It is also not suitable for anemia caused by a vitamin B12 deficiency, as folic acid administration can cover up a vitamin B12 deficiency and lead to permanent damage to the nervous system.Before treating anemia, it must be ensured that it is not due to a vitamin B12 deficiency.

Dosage

The dosage of Folverlan 5 mg tablets is at the discretion of the doctor.The usual dosage for adults is 1-3 tablets daily.The tablets are taken whole with liquid with meals.
