Directions for use of the article Magnesium Diasporal 2 mmol Ampoules Magnesium Diasporal 2 mmol is a mineral preparation used to treat magnesium deficiency. It can be taken for neuromuscular disorders such as calf cramps. It is also used for pregnancy-related high blood pressure with fluid retention and protein excretion in the urine, as well as for pregnancy-related generalised seizures. It is recommended for use in preterm labour when serum magnesium levels are too low. The dosage of Magnesium-Diasporal 2 mmol depends on the severity of the magnesium deficiency and varies according to the area of treatment. Intramuscular or intravenous administration is recommended. In case of overdose, symptoms such as muscle weakness, drop in blood pressure and confusion may occur. An overdose should be treated with intravenous calcium supplementation. The medicinal product should be used out of the reach of children and not after the expiry date.
