Dosage and instructions for use

Always take Pro-Symbioflor exactly as described in the package leaflet or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose for adults is initially 5 drops 3 times a day, increasing to 20 drops 3 times a day within 2 weeks.Shake the suspension well before use to achieve a slight cloudiness.Take the drops dissolved in a little water with meals.In children and adolescents, the dosage should be adjusted accordingly.

Pro-Symbioflor contains no preservatives and should therefore be handled carefully.Open the bottle only briefly and carefully drain the contents.Do not touch the dropper.The duration of use depends on the illness present and can be up to 6 months in chronic cases.

Contraindications

Composition

The active ingredient in Pro-Symbioflor is a bacterial lysate made from 1.5 - 4.5 x 107 cells of Enterococcus faecalis (DSM 16440) and 1.5 - 4.5 x 107 cells of E. coli (DSM 17252).1 ml corresponds to approximately 14 drops.The other ingredients include lactose monohydrate, sodium carbonate decahydrate, sodium chloride, magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, potassium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate, magnesium chloride hexahydrate, nutrient broth (peptone, yeast extract, sodium chloride, glucose monohydrate) and purified water.

Mode of action

Pro-Symbioflor contains sterile autolysates of Escherichia coli and Enterococcus faecalis bacteria.These bacterial components activate the body's own defense system in the intestinal mucosa, causing antibodies to be formed.An antigen-antibody reaction activates the immune system and trains it for later infections.This increases the immune system, particularly in the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract and urogenital tract.

Storage

Before opening, do not store Pro-Symbioflor above +30°C or in the freezer.After opening the bottle for the first time, the contents have a shelf life of at least 3 weeks and should be stored in the refrigerator (2°C - 8°C).Keep the medicine out of the reach and reach of children.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.Do not use the medicine if you notice severe flocculation of the solution.
